Description & Details: A position as postdoc in plant biochemistry and crystallography is available at the Centre for Carbohydrate Recognition and Signalling, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University. The position is for a two-year period starting from August 25th 2016. Applicants are expected to have experience in biochemistry with emphasis on the biochemistry of plant receptors, receptor ligand binding studies and crystallography. Experience with insect cells as expression system and purification of ligand binding domains is an advantage. The postdoc is expected to continue the ongoing characterisation of ectodomains from LysM-receptor kinases. Applicants must have a relevant Ph.D. and additional experience from postdoctoral employment is an advantage. There is funding for 2 years of employment. In case further external funding is procured within the academic area the candidate is estimated obviously qualified for, an extension can be possible for up to a total maximum of 4 years employment as a post doc.
