Description & Details: A one-year position as postdoc at the Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University, is open for appointment from March 15, 2017. The post is associated with a larger program on the innate immune system and herpesvirus infections. The successful candidate will be working on a projects addressing the mechanisms of viral evasion of immune responses related to the ubiquitin system. Applicants are expected to have knowledge on virology, immunology, and signal transduction. In addition to experience with standard methods in frontline infection immunology research, applicants are expected to have hands-on expertise with herpesvirus infection models in mice as well as methods in ubiquitin research.
