DEPARTMENT OF MICROBIOLOGY AND IMMUNOLOGY
As a Postdoctoral Fellow within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology you will carry out laboratory work for the project ‘Role of host commensal communities in protection against pathogens’.
The Role:
• To carry out theoretical and experimental work related to the overall project.
• Assist with the general running of the laboratory.
• Maintain detailed records.
Skills and Experience:
• A PhD or comparable qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. molecular biology, systems biology, bioinformatics).
• Experience in bacterial cell culture, analysis of next-generation sequencing data.
• Strong computer skills.
• Proficiency in R or Python.
This is a full-time, fixed term position for 24 months.
