Info about the project: www.dmc-malvec.eu Position Description: The successful candidate will develop and validate molecular diagnostic assays to monitor species ID, infection status and insecticide resistance profile of mosquito vectors of human diseases. Qualifications: PhD in Biology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry; experience in molecular diagnostics and/or molecular entomology and/or mosquito-vector biology and/or insecticide resistance. The successful candidate should also be adaptable and able to work under different conditions and with a range of people in a multicultural environment, as well as flexible to travel for short periods of time.
