The 3 PhD positions are available in Organic and bioorganic chemistry. The focus is on synthesizing new prodrugs that are optimized for degrading specifically in diseased tissues and formulation in liposome drug delivery systems for use in immunotherapy. We aim to design prodrugs that stimulate antigen-presenting cells for treatment of cancer. The synthesis of these prodrugs is challenging and requires the best students with a strong academic mind and “good hands”. The projects are carried out in collaboration with small biotech companies. The candidates should have a background in organic chemistry.
