Description & Details: A position for a postdoctoral researcher in Analytical Chemistry with a focus on instrumentation development and novel analytical chemistry methodologies is available. Responsibilities are associated with the design and construction of novel mass spectrometry instrumentation and the advance of associated methodologies for molecular and atomic mass spectrometry. Direct experience with time-of-flight mass spectrometry is desirable. Knowledge of, and experience with, novel ionization sources for mass spectrometry is valuable, including ion reaction chemistries and mass spectral interpretation skills. Strong communication skills for dissemination of research results are also required. |
