Description & Details:   The Post-Doctoral Research Fellow will be working on elucidating the structure and function of FSAP using protein biochemistry and crystallization. Further work will involve analyzing the molecular interactions between proteases and activators and inhibitors. The successful candidate should have a strong background in protein biochemistry and structure determination using crystallization. This should be backed up by publications in the field.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with the personal prerequisites to carry out the project within the given timeframe. Qualifications and Personal Skills:

Candidates must have a PhD equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree. Successful candidates must have submitted their doctoral thesis prior to the application closing date.   • Background in protein biochemistry and structure determination using crystallization
  • Experience with enzymology, protein expression in various expression systems
  • PhD in the field of protein structure determination
  • Excellent command of written and oral English
  • Ability to work independently
