Rs 1000 currency notes

Reserve Bank of India has recently admitted that it has printed Rs. 30,000 crore worth of Rs. 1000 currency notes without the silver thread.

It has also revealed that Rs. 10,000 crore has already been circulated. This is the second time that RBI has printed faulty currency notes.
