Description & Details: We seek a highly motivated postdoc candidate who will be capable of applying advanced 3D plant modelling to test hypotheses and integrate detailed experimental data on acclimation of a major monocot food crop rice and the leading dicot model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, to the combined stresses: high temperature and sequential drought and flooding. The successful applicant will work on the NWO-funded project entitled ‘Understanding responses to simultaneously and sequentially occurring abiotic stresses typical of climate change in rice and Arabidopsis’ and will be based and supervised by members of the Centre for Crop Systems Analysis (Wageningen University).
