Description & Details: Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research associate to work in the group led by Professor Clare Grey on the development and characterisation of rechargeable battery materials and supercapacitors for transport and grid storage applications. The project will involve use of various techniques including powder X-ray diffraction, SEM/TEM, and NMR. Applicants must have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in materials chemistry or other related area. Previous experience in solid-state NMR spectroscopy is essential, preferably applied to inorganic materials. Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
