Description & Details: A post-doctoral position in Microbial Biotechnology is available at the Section for Microbial Ecology and Biotechnology, Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences from 1 September 2016 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is available for 2 years and is affiliated with the Microbial Biotechnology Research Group. The project is collaboration between University of Copenhagen, Aarhus University and three companies and it is expected that the successful candidate will be collaborating closely with Aarhus University and the companies. The postdoc’s duties will include research within enzyme discovery, production of recombinant enzymes and characterisation of recombinant enzymes. The aim of the project is to design a process for the production of proteins from potato pulp involving enzymatic removal of toxic glycoalkaloids and decrease of polyphenols. |
