Description & Details:  The post-doc position is associated with externally funded projects that investigate the role of immunosuppressive peptide motifs in fusion proteins of mammalian viruses in viral replication and virus-host interactions. The post-doc will be in charge of designing and producing mutated viruses and virus-like particles and analyzing their interaction with the host in cell culture and animal models. Applicants with experience in virology, gene technology, biotechnology or similar fields will be preferred.

There is funding for 2 years of employment. In case further external funding is procured within the academic area the candidate is estimated obviously qualified for, an extension can be possible for up to a total maximum of 4 years employment as a post doc.

The project will be carried out at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, C. F. Møllers Allé 3, 8000 Aarhus C.

Application procedure
Short-listing is used.
