| We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated postdoc with tenure track ambition in modelling of process for the biobased economy to strengthen the Biobased Chemistry and Technology chair group in the department of Agrotechnology & Food Sciences at Wageningen University & Research. The position includes both research and teaching responsibilities.
In a challenging career trajectory you will be responsible for developing a strong research line and initiating and implementing new research in the field of modelling processes for the biobased economy on different length scales. You have to connect modelling with chemical and technological knowledge in such a way that bottlenecks in the biobased economy and biorefineries can be identified and addressed. In particular we are looking for a candidate with a strong feeling/knowledge of chemistry. Fundamental and applied research go hand in hand. |
