The candidate will participate in the Data Science Enabling Technology (DSET) project funded by the Amsterdam Institute of Advanced Metropolitan Solutions (AMS) and Wageningen University & Research. The research of the candidate will focus on the development of a ‘city simulator’ which is an Agent Based Modelling platform targeted to simulate urban processes in which human behaviour and human decision-making are crucial. The main task of the postdoc is to develop and apply methodologies to formalize human behaviour in space and time and implement it in an ABM environment. Interest in and the willingness to study social processes and human behaviour is therefore crucial. |
